- I was born and raised in Kanagawa, Japan. From a very young age I have loved observations and creating stories. I moved to Canada when I was 15. After two years of University life in Toronto, I came to New York City in 2002. Many different things began to compete for my interest and attention here in big city. And sometimes my artwork and imagination felt small, fragile. In this confusion, I tried many things. I have been a student, a set designer, a dancer, a framer, and an artist. Then I started to realize what makes me happier recently. I like adventure both in my imagination and in real life. Like an magician who surprises and entertains, I enjoy creating, sharing my imagination with others.
